Reporter Seeks Workplace "Acts of Extraordinary Kindness"

I recently received the following request from a freelance reporter who is working on a story for a national women’s magazine, and am posting it here in case that you would like to respond, or know anyone who might be willing to be interviewed for the article:

Has anyone ever done anything for you that was exceptionally nice, or do you know of any extraordinary acts of kindness? In an upcoming article, a national women’s magazine is featuring do-gooders and their inspirational stories. We’re looking for women who went beyond the usual means of  generosity (such as donating time or money) and made real sacrifices. For example: several employees in a school anonymously donated their vacation days to a co-worker with cancer who had used up all of her sick days.

Please respond directly to the reporter at mitchmarchetti@aol.com.
